Death Dream

For two consecutive nights, I've been having the same unsettling dream --- that I killed someone and stashed this person's body inside a cabinet while plotting how to hide the evidence. I accidentally killed this person in my dream and it's been eating at my conscience. Have you ever had a dream like this?

5 of Wands - Time to Choose

The moment I picked up this card from my reading, I knew I was in a bit of trouble. I've been feeling it for so long but I haven't got the conviction and the drive to really move forward with it. I was still enjoying all the other things I do on a daily basis, but if there's one thing that has been nagging me on and off for several years now, and most especially lately, it is all about making choices.

Death - Dream Interpretation

Even before I watched this documentary on death by Terry Pratchett (Choosing to Die: Sir Terry Pratchett Comes to Terms with His Death), I've been dreaming about death for a couple of nights now. Two of them were very vivid and I'd like to share them with you here as I try to make sense of everything.

First Dream

I was with my husband and our friends and we were out in the street, dancing to some party music. All of a sudden, people became very frantic and we all ran to the same direction, all the way to a narrow, side street. Just before we turned to a corner, Japanese soldiers dressed like they did during World War II suddenly appeared and shot all of us. I can still remember the feeling of those bullets tearing through my gut. Everyone of us fell to the ground including my husband beside me. As I was losing consciousness, I can still hear Peter's faint voice describing to our dying friends how I was feeling, how painful it was and how I was slowly dying. I woke up out of breath. Apparently, I was really trying not to breath as well . That was so scary!

Second Dream

This one was a lot weirder than the first. I was in a bedroom that wasn't ours and I was with my husband who doesn't look like my husband at all. Then two men came pounding at our door. When they got in, both of them tried to rape me. One of the men almost succeeded until he turned into a dog, then the dog tried to rape me too! Somehow, we escaped. My "husband" was able to trap them inside the room. Then he started pouring gasoline on them while making fun of them at the same time. When he finally lit the fire for them to burn, the fire got wild and both of us were cught in the fire too. Then I woke up feeling disoriented.

What does this all mean?

The Lucky Dog New Moon Spell

Lucky dogs are great to be around because some of their luck can rub off on us. But if you think you're running out of luck and you're in dire need of some, this lucky dog spell could help you out. This spell is best done on the evening of a new moon just like tonight. Here's how:

Ingredients:
  • half a teaspoon of salt
  • a small box (like an empty matchbox)
  • a hair or two from a dog
  • a pinch of basil

Halloween - Origins and History

While waiting for my number to be called inside the bank yesterday, I asked Peter about the origins of Halloween, like how come Christians are so against it (I was baptized a born again Christian when I was in College, but I'm not active anymore. I do believe in God though, that higher power that transcends all and that which I cannot explain), and how come I am enjoying it so much whether I spend it alone or with the company of other like-minded individuals.

Anyway, what Peter said made such an impact, to me, as a baby Wiccan, at least. From what I remember, here are the things he said:

Dream Interpretation - Nuclear Bomb

If you're at my age, you've probably seen that Twilight Zone episode with the nuclear bomb. I was just a kid then but of all the Twilight Zone shows, that was the one that really made an impact. In that episode, the world was about to end. A nuclear bomb was seen by millions of people soaring in the sky, about to hit its target. But there was this girl who has a vintage pocket watch that can stop time. So she did. And everything stopped. The nuclear bomb stopped mid air; all the people and all living things around the world just simply stopped except for her. She was all alone, she need not work, she can just go from one house or store or place to the next and grab and loot stuff and no one would care because everything was on PAUSE except her. That episode was sad for me. Yeah, she stopped the world from going into flames but at the price of living a life.

Time for Halloween - 6 of Cups

Gosh, it's been so long since I last posted here. Offline, I've been quite regular with my tarot readings, meditations as well as dream interpretations though and I think that's more important. I've also started getting more serious with Feng Shui and I'll be sharing some of my thoughts about it here soon. The rest of my time has been spent doing productive stuff at work and lately, preparing for Halloween, my favorite time of the year! In fact, not only have I been reminiscing past Halloween celebrations through my facebook page, but my hubby and I have also been decorating the house, not just for a small party we're having this weekend, but mostly because we want to feel and enjoy the season even when we're just at home, just the two of us, most of the time.

The most recent daily tarot card I drew, 6 OF CUPS agree with my sentiments.

My Juggling Act Was Written on the Card

The past two weeks of September have been the most interesting. I have been doing my tarot card readings and meditation regularly and the messages given to me by my spirit guides have been very right on the spot.

Last week, I started juggling a lot of work in order to increase our household income while my husband gets his business off the ground. I barely slept but I was happy and energetic enough to accomplish them all. Meditation gave me the energy, power and focus to achieve my goals, and I believe it helped that the daily cards I drew were really symbolical of what I was going through. All of the cards kept telling me that success is in my hands and that this is the time to be happy and abundant. And out of all those tarot cards telling me a variety of good news, there was one card I couldn't forget which really touched my core. This card further encouraged me to continue this path I took because it resonated with me the most... 2 of PENTACLES.

The Power of Meditation

I know this and I've already blogged a bout it a few times before. However, despite my knowledge about it, there are times when I can't seem to squeeze it in my day. I'd get caught up in my own hectic world only to find out later on that I didn't really accomplish anything meaningful. I'd be thinking that I'll do it soon, that I'll find time to pray and meditate... But hours would turn to days, and days would turn to a week and before I know it, I'd be in a ball of a mess and I'm step away from overfatigue and burnout.

This happened last week. I had so much on my plate that I kept procrastinating. The whole time that I wasn't meditating, I felt so scatter-brained, I haven't really accomplished the things I set out to do and and ended up feeling tired, restless, beaten and quite hopeless. It was a state I've always tried to avoid but that particular week, I failed.

So when I started my Monday, I made sure that I'd set aside some time to meditate. And I'm glad I did. I spent an hour in our zen garden, lighted some tea lights and incense, brought out my tarot cards and other meditation tools. I quieted my mind, prayed to God, my spirit guides and guardian angels and just listened to my inner voice.

That was 15 hours ago. Looking back, I did accomplish a lot. I even got three unexpected blessings and more are coming my way. To think that last week, I was killing myself doing more effort, yet I wasn't getting the results I wanted. Today, when I meditated, I accomplished a lot and received so much reward for something that I didn't even work so hard for. This is another testament to the power of prayer and meditation.

Having said that, I truly promise to make meditation a daily habit, even if it's just for a few minutes. I shouldn't get distracted by the amount of tasks I need to do in a day. I must remember that the more work that needs to get done, the more time I should spend meditating. Past experience and testimonies from other people have proven this endeavor to be effective and I should keep using this as a tool to better myself and my circumstances. Try it for yourself and see how much better your life gets.

Love and light!

Too Much Water in My Mouth

I had a bizarre dream this morning. I can't remember most of the details but I know it involved a lot of water and a very wide mouth.

The water was coming out of a hose and was being poured (but not really swallowed) into my open mouth and I was doing this willingly. I didn't feel like drowning. I knew that I just had to keep pouring water into my mouth otherwise, someone's life would be at terrible risk. No wonder I woke up with a very sore back. I think I was so stressed the whole time I was dreaming.

What could this mean?
